Hi, and thanks for visiting my fiber arts blog!

I’m Debbie, and I made this blog to have a place to share my love for the fiber arts. I first learned to crochet in college and dabbled in trying it out here and there over the years. It wasn’t until a particularly stressful time in my life that I picked up the hooks again in a serious way.

It was then that I realized how fun and therapeutic crochet is. I also find crochet a little mathematical, as if it’s wearable geometry, if that makes sense. So it appeals to both sides of me: artsy and nerdy. I’m enjoying the journey, especially sharing and connecting with other fiber arts enthusiasts.

Besides crochet and the fiber arts, I have a lot of various interests. I am a WAHM, working as a freelance proofreader. I have three beautiful boys that learn at home. All this makes for very busy, hectic days. I look forward to those small parts of the day to unwind with some yarn.
